  1. Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt is a great substitute to mayo. It has the same tangy and creamy flavor without the calories or fat. Just add your favorite spice mix or other healthy condiments like mustard and spread on sandwiches or thin it out a little with vinegar and use it as a dressing. 

 

  1. Avocado

Avocado can be used as a substitute for many fat-based oils. Mash it up with seasonings or keep it chunky for a salsa texture as a dip. You can even spread it on bread and bagels.

 

  1. Hummus

Hummus is another versatile dip that is delicious with cut up vegetables, great on salads, and delicious on sandwiches. It is readily available in most grocery stores but making it fresh at home will get it that extra freshness that you just cant buy. You can even easily make this condiment at home by combining soft tofu, a little bit of olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice, a splash of apple cider vinegar and a dash of salt. It’s that simple! And delicious.

Another vegan alternative is a dip made from cashews. You soak the cashew in water for 12-24 hours and then rinse, and blend them up. You can add flavors like garlic, lemon, spices to create delectable sauces and dips. It’s super simple and an amazingly rich and healthy option.
