I hope you are heeding all the current recommendations for the COVID-19 outbreak to keep yourself and all others at minimum risk and to slow the whole epidemic down.

At the same time, I urge you to stay calm and practice all these good healthy behaviors we have worked on together.

It is of utmost importance RIGHT NOW to keep our immune systems working at optimal performance.

That requires:

  1. Eating CLEAN, HEALTHY foods—not sugar-laden, snack foods, refined carbs, or processed foods. Focus on lean proteins and lots of veggies with some fruit (phytonutrients, antioxidants). Plain is best, along with added herbs and spices, green tea, and bone broths as tolerated. PLEASE prepare your meals simply, using ingredients closest to their original form (UNPROCESSED). For convenience, use: Canned beans, fish, seafood, and tomato products (please rinse beans & protein foods to eliminate sodium and any preservatives), frozen fruits and veggies—preferably all Organic, prewashed and bagged salad mixes, precut veggies (onions & garlic, stew & stir fry veggies), plain individually quick-frozen fish fillets and shrimp, Make your own sauces & marinades vs. bottled, premixed.
Call HD4U office for specific recipes, meal planning and cooking instructions: 760-576-4302
  2. Taking your prescribed SUPPLEMENTS, especially a good quality multivitamin with minerals, probiotic (MegasporeBiotic), Vitamin D3 w/K2, magnesium bis-glycinate, antioxidants (Stellar C &/or Resvoxitrol), and omega 3 fish oil (OrthOmega), some form of Turmeric (contains curcuminoids) – fresh is best.
For Virus protection I recommend Immunoberry liquid (Designs for Health) and Viracid (Orthomega) as first choice (available via my website links for ordering supplements), or any antimicrobial, antiviral products that contain any of the following herbal extracts: elderberry, astragalus, shiitake & maitake mushroom extracts, echinacea, L-lysine, Acerola, wild cherry, beta1.3/1.6 glucan
  3. Getting adequate and restful sleep.
  4. Getting EXERCISE daily for at least 30 min. Outdoors with sunshine in nature is a good option—even with a mask!
  5. MINIMIZE STRESS, and practice STRESS REDUCTION techniques. WHICHEVER techniques work for you
  6. Minimize your exposure to all and any toxic substances, so your body can focus on fighting viral exposure instead of detoxing. (that includes all sugars, pesticides, herbicides, unnecessary drugs or OTC meds, processed foods, trans fats, bad air, toxic people, too much news, plastics, etc.)

We will all get through this, if we do our part, work together, and take care of ourselves and one another.
